PapaRob Books is a bookkeeping business run by Robert Ley (1155029 B.C. Ltd., doing business as PapaRob Books). This page explains what information this website collects and how we use it.

What you send us

When you fill in a form on this site (the contact form or the Bookkeeping Health Check), we receive what you type: for example your name, email, phone number and details about your business and your books. We use it only to reply to you and to prepare your quote. We do not sell your information.

With each form we also record how you found us: the page you first landed on and any advertising codes in the web address (Google's "gclid", Meta's "fbclid" and "utm" campaign tags). This tells us which ad or search brought you, so we spend our advertising money wisely.

The tools we use and what each one collects

• Google Analytics (GA4): pages viewed, how you arrived (search, ad or link), general device and location (city level), and actions on the page such as a form sent or a click on our phone number or email. Used to understand how the site is used.
• Google Ads conversion tracking: whether a visit that came from one of our Google ads led to a form enquiry or a phone-number click, using the ad click identifier. Used to measure our Google ads.
• Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram): page views, form enquiries and clicks on our phone number or email, linked to Meta's own identifiers. Used to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads.
• OpenAI ads measurement pixel: page views and enquiries that came from our ads on OpenAI platforms. Used to measure those ads.
• Make.com: our form-delivery service. It receives what you type in a form, plus the "how you found us" details above, and passes them to our lead records. It does not use them for anything else.
• Airtable: where we keep enquiry records (your name, email, phone, message, business details and how you found us) so we can reply and follow up.

Google, Meta and OpenAI may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and handle visit information under their own privacy policies. Make.com and Airtable store data for us as service providers. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and you can adjust ad settings in your Google and Meta accounts.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and client records as long as required for bookkeeping and legal purposes.

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information you have sent us. Email rob@paparobbooks.com and we will look after it.
